My name is Tony Hernandez and I have been teaching for 9 years.  I am born and raised in Avalon and decided to come back to teach at the school that I know a lot about and a school that has been a blessing to me and my family.  I currently teach 7th and 8th grade Math along with being the head volleyball coach. My wife Holly teachers 3rd grade at Avalon and we have a 3 year old daughter.  I am excited for this year to start because come January I will take on a new role of District Assistant Principal.
