<div>Hello <strong><span style="color: #ff3a00">EAGLES</span></strong>,</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Well, it seems that despite all of the hurdles, we are just about to finish the 2019-2020 school year. It didn't go as we planned but life never does.</div>
<div>Tomorrow, Monday, May 18, is the due date for all assignments.</div>
<div>For those of you that chose the hard-copy route, there are a couple of <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong><span style="color: #008500; text-decoration: underline">Drop-Off</span></strong></span> times scheduled at <span style="text-decoration: underline">11:00am-12:30pm</span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline">5:00pm-6:30pm</span>.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>I just got through looking at <strong><span style="color: #cf000f">Study Island</span></strong> and there are <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong><span style="color: #cf000f; text-decoration: underline">A LOT</span></strong></span> of you that seem to have slacked off a bit in your efforts.</div>
<div>PLEASE get finished.</div>
<div>The assignments I made were all review work and pretty short and quick to do.</div>
<div><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong><span style="color: #cf000f; text-decoration: underline">PLEASE GET FINISHED</span></strong></span>!!!</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div><strong><span style="color: #008500">GOOD NEWS</span></strong>!!!!! <span style="color: #ff3a00"><strong>ALL OF MY SENIORS HAVE COMPLETED ALL OF THEIR WORK</strong></span>!!!<br>I hope you have done likewise in your other classes.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Keep in contact with your friends and classmates.</div>
<div>Encourage them to finish the year strong.</div>
<div>Support each other and hold each other accountable.</div>
<div>We ARE all in this together and need each other's support.</div>
</div><br>

									<div><span style="color: #ff7100"><strong>GOOD NEWS</strong></span>!! There are no new assignment for the week of May 11!!!!&nbsp; (You're welcome)</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>The assignments for the last couple of weeks (for the 6th 6-week grading period) are all based in <span style="color: #ff7100"><strong>Study Island</strong></span>.</div>
<div>These assignments have been posted in Study Island for a while.</div>
<div>Some of you have started them and some of you have not. They are as follows:</div>
<ul>
<li>2e - Simplify Exponent Expressions (10 problems)<br>2h - Rewrite Expressions (10 problems)<br>3a - Slope of a Line (15 problems)(1-5 for a grade)(6-10 for a 2nd grade)(11-15 for a 3rd grade)<br>3c - Graph Linear Functions (15 problems)(1-5 for a grade)(6-10 for a 2nd grade)(11-15 for a 3rd grade)</li>
</ul>
<div>These will give you eight (<span style="color: #ff7100"><strong>8</strong></span>) grades for the 6th 6-weeks.</div>
<div>Please complete these. They will not take much time (you're welcome) unless you put them off.</div>
<div>Remember, an advantage of Study Island assignments is that you can attempt them multiple times to potentially earn a better grade.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>PLEASE finish the year <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #ff7100; text-decoration: underline"><strong>STRONG</strong></span></span>!!&nbsp; I've seen a bit of a last-minute surge (<span style="color: #cf000f"><strong>PANIC??</strong></span>) in activity the last few days.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><br>

									<div>This isn't a new assignment.&nbsp; It's a REMINDER/PLEA.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>
<div>I sent a few of you an individual email yesterday and today about the first week (Week of March 23) assignments that we sent as a packet through the mail. MOST of you did them and returned them. But there are a few of you that have not.</div>
<div>PLEASE complete these assignments and return them Monday, May 4, during the announced Drop-Off times that are posted on the AISD website and Remind emails.</div>
<div>Also, MANY of you seem to have slacked off a bit with the work from Weeks 2-5. Please remember that I posted ALTERNATIVE ONLINE ASSIGNMENTS that are available to everyone even if you chose to do HARD COPY assignments. These are short Study Island assignments that can be done pretty quickly. And the bonus is, if you don't do as well the first time, you can always go back and retry the problems for a higher score.</div>
<div>PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep up with your work in all of your classes. This will be a good time to pump up your six-week averages in all of your classes.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>And BE HAPPY that there has been no VOCABULARY and MEMORY WORK!!!</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>CHECK STUDY ISLAND!!!</div>

									<div>
<div>Good morning EAGLES! <br>Not to start off with a downer, but many of you need to step up your efforts in your class work. We are still taking grades. This is not an extended Spring Break or an early Summer. School is still going on. Learning is still our goal. You are still accountable for your assignments whether they are hard copy or online. To confuse things a bit, some of you have switched from hard copy to online and others from online to hard copy. THAT'S OK! It's kinda hard to keep up with, but all of the assignments have been relatively short and can be done pretty quickly.</div>
<div>PLEASE keep up (or CATCH UP) with your work and all of the alerts and announcements you are receiving from Google Classroom, the Avalon website, emails, reminds, ZOOM, etc. It all seems like a lot but it really isn't. It's only a lot if you put it off.</div>
<div>Contact your friends and classmates. Work together, even if it's by phone, text, or email. HELP each other. TEACH each other. Hold each other accountable. ENCOURAGE one another. LISTEN to one another. BE THERE for everyone.</div>
</div><br>

<div>If you can't print these out, you can copy them on your own paper.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>No pressure!&nbsp; Just take the opportunity to relearn this material.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>During the week, check back to my page.&nbsp; I'm going to find some YouTube videos related to these topics to help you.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>Here's one to get you started from MathAntics.&nbsp; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5ZGDNxJwxA&amp;t=214s" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5ZGDNxJwxA&amp;t=214s</a>&nbsp;</div>
