Elementary Beginning of Year Information!

AVALON ELEMENTARY! New School Year Information!
Just a few of the first day details:
~ School BEGINS at 7:50 and dismissal is at 3:35 for all students. Please do not drop off students any earlier than 7:30, we want to be certain there is adequate supervision available. If you arrive prior to 7:30, please park in a designated parking space.
~ Please do not park in front of the dome while waiting for the doors to open, it blocks the buses when they arrive. All kindergarten through fifth grade students will be dropped off at the entrance to the dome everyday (this includes the first day of school).
~ Preschool students must be escorted to their class.
~ When dropping off students please enter the first driveway that is closest to highway 34. When picking up students in the afternoon, traffic will run the opposite direction. Please enter beside the JP Griffith gym off of Kirby street. You may park in a designated parking spot and walk to pick up your child/children or remain in the car line.
We want all of our children to be successful, so it is important that they are in attendance as much as possible and on time everyday.
