Felicia Gomez ~ 11th Grade

Avalon ISD's high school Student of the Month for September is Felicia Gomez.  Felicia is a junior at Avalon School, is in the dual credit program, National Honor Society, plays basketball and serves as an office aide for the high school office.
Felicia feels that her junior year is going well and has been fun, although it can be stressful at times.  She plans to earn as many dual credit hours as possible while at Avalon and will then go on to Navarro College to finish her Associate degree.  Felicia plans to work as an animator or in graphic design.
Felicia's favorite subject is Anatomy & Physiology because there is drawing involved with the class work.  She likes to listen to Alternative or Punk Rock music and enjoys drawing or playing Overwatch or Watch Dogs.  She is a fan of hot wings, the color pink and "The Office" and "One Piece."
Felicia's favorite saying is "Good managers don't fire.  They hire and inspire."
Felicia has been at Avalon ISD since Pre-K.  She truly believes Avalon is a great school and a great place to learn!
